Recombinant Human HLA-A*02:01&B2M&Survivin (LTLGEFLKL) Tetramer Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag and Avi tag at the C-terminus, tetramer is assembled by biotinylated monomer and streptavidin.It contains Gly25-Thr305(HLA-A*02:01), Ile21-Met119(B2M) and LTLGEFLKL peptide. Survivin (also known as BIRC5) is an evolutionarily conserved eukaryotic protein that is essential for cell division and can inhibit cell death. Normally it is only expressed in actively proliferating cells, but is upregulated in most, if not all cancers, consequently, it has received significant attention as a potential oncotherapeutic target. Protein function: Component of the class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC). Involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. Exogenously applied M.tuberculosis EsxA or EsxA-EsxB (or EsxA expressed in host) binds B2M and decreases its export to the cell surface (total protein levels do not change), probably leading to defects in class I antigen presentation (PubMed:25356553).
