CTRB1 is located next to a related chymotrypsinogen gene. CTRB1 is a protein coding gene which encodes different isoforms which may undergo similar processing to generate the mature protein.Recombinant Human CTRB1 expressed in E.coli containing 245 amino acids having a Mw of 27kDa is purified by standard chromatography techniques.
