Product information "Aurora Kinase A, Recombinant, Human (SAIK, ARK1, AurA, AURA, Aurora/IPL1-related kinase 1, AURORA2,"
Aurora Kinase A is a member of a family of mitotic serine/threonine kinases. It is implicated with important processes during mitosis and meiosis whose proper function is integral for healthy cell proliferation. Aurora kinase A is highly expressed in testis and weakly in skeletal muscle, thymus and spleen. Also this protein plays a crucial role in tumorigenesis and is overexpressed in many kinds of cancers. Source: Recombinant human Aurora-A fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. Molecular Weight: 47.9kD (423aa). AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MDRSKENCIS GPVKATAPVG GPKRVLVTQQ FPCQNPLPVN SGQAQRVLCP SNSSQRIPLQ AQKLVSSHKP VQNQKQKQLQ ATSVPHPVSR PLNNTQKSKQ PLPSAPENNP EEELASKQKN EESKKRQWAL EDFEIGRPLG KGKFGNVYLA REKQSKFILA, LKVLFKAQLE KAGVEHQLRR EVEIQSHLRH PNILRLYGYF HDATRVYLIL EYAPLGTVYR ELQKLSKFDE QRTATYITEL ANALSYCHSK RVIHRDIKPE NLLLGSAGEL KIADFGWSVH APSSRRTTLC GTLDYLPPEM IEGRMHDEKV DLWSLGVLCY EFLVGKPPFE ANTYQETYKR ISRVEFTFPD FVTEGARDLI SRLLKHNPSQ RPMLREVLEH PWITANSSKP SNCQNKESAS KQS. Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Storage and Stability: For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C/-70°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C/-70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.,
