Product information "Interleukin-7 (Il7) (Active), mouse, recombinant"
Organism: Mus musculus (Mouse). Source: Mammalian cell. Expression Region: 26-154aa. Protein Length: Full Length of Mature Protein. Tag Info: C-terminal 6xHis-tagged. Target Protein Sequence: ECHIKDKEGK AYESVLMISI DELDKMTGTD SNCPNNEPNF FRKHVCDDTK EAAFLNRAAR KLKQFLKMNI SEEFNVHLLT VSQGTQTLVN CTSKEEKNVK EQKKNDACFL KRLLREIKTC WNKILKGSI. Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Endotoxin: Less than 1.0 EU/µg as determined by LAL method. Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined in a cell proliferation assay using PHA-activated human peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) is 60-1000 pg/ml. Form: Lyophilized powder. Buffer: Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered 1xPBS, pH 7.4. Reconstitution: We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20 °C/-80 °C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference. Storage: The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20 °C/-80 °C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20 °C/-80 °C. Notes: Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4 °C for up to one week. Relevance: Mouse interleukin-7(IL-7) is the member of hemopoietin family which is important to the differentiation, proliferation, and survival of lymphocyte. Mouse IL-7 shares approximately 88% aa sequence identity with rat IL-7 and 58-60% with human, equine, bovine, ovine, porcine, feline and canine IL-7. It is widely expressed in primary and secondary lymphoid tissues cell and stromal epithelial cells of the thymus, bone marrow, and intestines. IL-7 activation of IL-7 R alpha is critical for both T cell and B cell lineage development. It is important for proliferation during certain stages of B-cell maturation. IL-7 contributes to the maintenance of all naïve and memory T cells, mainly by promoting expression of the anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2. It is required for optimal T cell-dendritic cell interaction. Reference: n/a. Function: Hematopoietic growth factor capable of stimulating the proliferation of lymphoid progenitors. It is important for proliferation during certain stages of B-cell maturation.
