Description: Sulfacetamide (NSC-63871) is used to treat blepharitis or conjunctivitis (in eye-drop solution) by limiting the presence of folic acid which bacteria need to survive. sulfacetamide may serve as a treatment for mild forms of hidradenitis suppurativa.
