Rabeprazole Sulfide

Rabeprazole sulfide is an active metabolite of the proton pump inhibitor rabeprazole (Cay-14939). It inhibits the motility of H. pylori (IC50 = 0.25 µg/ml). Rabeprazole sulfide is cytotoxic to HepG2 liver and PANC-1 pancreatic cancer cells (IC50s = 0.08 and 0.17 µM, respectively).
