PT2385 is an inhibitor of hypoxia-inducible factor-2alpha (HIF-2alpha, IC50 = 12 nM). It inhibits HIF-2alpha-induced production of Vegfa mRNA and reduces tumor volume in a 786-O renal cell carcinoma mouse xenograft model when administered at a dose of 10 mg/kg.
