PD173955 is an ATP-competitive, dual Src/Abl kinase inhibitor. It is a potent inhibitor of Bcr-Abl with an IC(50) of 1-2nM in kinase inhibition assays. In cellular growth assays it inhibits Bcr-Abl-dependent substrate tyrosine phosphorylation. PD173955 also inhibits Src kinase activity in vitro with an IC(50) of 22nM and could represent a novel class of anti-mitotic drug. Target: Abl - BCR , Kinase Group: PTK , Substrate: Tyrosine
