Isoguvacine hydrochloride binds to rat synaptic cortical membranes and activates alpha1beta2gamma2S, alpha2beta2gamma2S, alpha3beta2gamma2S, alpha5beta2gamma2S, and rho1 subunit GABAA receptors.
