GMX1777 is a prodrug form of the nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (Nampt) inhibitor CHS-828 (Cay-11021). Intravenous administration of GMX1777 (75 and 150 mg/kg) reduces NAD+ levels in tumors, but not muscle tissue, in a DMS 273 lung cancer mouse xenograft model.
