Dotinurad

Dotinurad is a urate transporter 1 (URAT1) antagonist (IC50 = 0.0372 µM). It is selective for URAT1 over ATP-binding cassette subfamily G member 2 (ABCG2), organic anion transporter 1 (OAT1), and OAT3 (IC50s = 4.16, 4.08, and 1.32 µM, respectively). In vivo, dotinurad (30 mg/kg) decreases plasma levels of urate and increases urine levels of urate in Cebus monkeys.
