Dimenhydrinate is an antiemetic consisting of diphenhydramine (Cay-11158), a histamine H1 and muscarinic cholinergic receptor antagonist, and 8-chlorotheophylline, a derivative of the phosphodiesterase inhibitor and adenosine receptor antagonist theophylline (Cay-23760).
