Product information "Cyclic ADP-Ribose (ammonium salt)"
Cyclic ADP-ribose (cADP-ribose) is an endogenous metabolite of NAD+ that mobilizes the release of stored Ca2+ in the endoplasmic reticulum via ryanodine receptors in various cell types.{12737, 11940, 20368, 34320, 34319} This second messenger is generated via the cADP-ribose synthases CD38 and CD157.{20368, 34319, 34317} cADP-Ribose may also trigger the cell surface Ca2+ influx channel TRPM2 in a temperature-dependent manner. In vitro, cADP-ribose modulates Ca2+ signaling in rat and mouse cardiomyocytes treated with isoproterenol (Cay-15592), and treatment with this metabolite at 100 µM under heat stress conditions induces the release of oxytocin (Cay-11799) from the mouse hypothalamus.{34317, 34320}Formal Name: 1-beta-D-ribofuranosyl-adenosine 5'-(trihydrogen diphosphate), intramol. P',5''-ester, diammonium salt. Synonyms: cADP-Ribose, cADPR. Molecular Formula: C15H19N5O13P2 . 2NH4. Formula Weight: 575.4. Purity: >98%. Formulation: (Request formulation change), A solid.
