Description: Bedaquiline fumarate (TMC207), a diarylquinoline antibiotic that targets ATP synthase, is effective for the treatment of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections. It blocks the proton pump for ATP synthase of mycobacteria. It is the first member of a new class of drugs called diarylquinolines. Target: Antibacterial, Antibiotic.
