AN2728 is a boron-based, topical anti-inflammatory agent that inhibits phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4, IC50 = 0.11 µM). It is less potent against PDE1A, PDE3A, and PDE7A (IC50s = 6.12, 6.41, and 0.73 µM, respectively).
