Cayman's Testosterone ELISA Kit is a competitive assay that can be used for quantification of testosterone in plasma, serum, saliva, tissue culture supernatants, animal feces, and other sample matrices. The assay does not recognize testosterone-17-glucuronide, the metabolite most prevalent in urine, and therefore is not recommended for use with urine samples.
