The Rat TDO (Tryptophan-2,3-dioxygenase) ELISA Kit accurately measures natural Rat TDO (Tryptophan-2,3-dioxygenase) levels quantified versus standard curves obtained and is based on antibodies raised against a recombinant Rat TDO (Tryptophan-2,3-dioxygenase) peptide. Protein function: Heme-dependent dioxygenase that catalyzes the oxidative cleavage of the L-tryptophan (L-Trp) pyrrole ring and converts L- tryptophan to N-formyl-L-kynurenine. Catalyzes the oxidative cleavage of the indole moiety. [The UniProt Consortium]
