Human P2RX1 (P2X purinoceptor 1) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a pre-coated immunoassay with a high sensitivity and broad range and has been designed to measure Human P2RX1 (P2X purinoceptor 1) in serum, plasma & cell culture supernatant samples. The Human P2RX1 (P2X purinoceptor 1) ELISA Kit accurately measures natural Human P2RX1 (P2X purinoceptor 1) levels quantified versus standard curves obtained and is based on antibodies raised against a recombinant Human P2RX1 (P2X purinoceptor 1) peptide. Protein function: Ligand-gated ion channel with relatively high calcium permeability. Binding to ATP mediates synaptic transmission between neurons and from neurons to smooth muscle. Seems to be linked to apoptosis, by increasing the intracellular concentration of calcium in the presence of ATP, leading to programmed cell death. [The UniProt Consortium]
