Anti-Serotonin Receptor 7 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Anti-Serotonin Receptor 7 from human, mouse, dog and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Anti-Serotonin Receptor 7 from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: This is one of the several different receptors for 5- hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone that functions as a neurotransmitter, a hormone, and a mitogen. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins that stimulate adenylate cyclase. This receptor is implicated in the regulation of mammalian circadian rhythms. [The UniProt Consortium]
