RIP1 belongs to the RIP subfamily of kinases. The RIP protein contains an N-terminal protein kinase domain, a C-terminal death domain, and a unique internal region. RIP interacts with the death receptors Fas and tumor necrosis receptor 1 (TNFR1) to stimulate apoptosis, SAPK/JNK, and NF-kappaB activation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 , Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:200, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
