0.5mg/ml if reconstituted with 0.2ml sterile DI water. This gene encodes a member of a family of proteins that may have roles in transcription and other nuclear processes. The encoded protein contains a KRAB (Kruppel-associated box) domain -A box and a SET (Su(var)3-9, Enhancer-of-zeste, Trithorax) domain and may function as a histone methyltransferase. Protein function: Histone methyltransferase that selectively methylates 'Lys-4' of dimethylated histone H3 (H3K4me2) to produce trimethylated 'Lys-4' histone H3 (H3K4me3). May play a role in epigenetic regulation of gene expression by defining an active chromatin state. [The UniProt Consortium]
