CCL20, also known as macrophage inflammatory protein 3 alpha (MIP-3a), is a b-chemokine that is strongly up-regulated by inflammatory signals and down-regulated by the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10. CCL20 binds to CCR6 to promote chemotaxis of lymphocytes and inhibit the proliferation of myeloid progenitors. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Neutralization and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Hybridoma: Myeloma with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
