Anti-Interleukin 27 (IL-27, p28) (PE)

Interleukin 27 (IL-27) is a novel heterodimeric cytokine comprised of the IL-12 p35-related protein, p28, and the IL-12 p40-related protein, EBI-3 (Epstein Barr virus induced gene 3). IL-27 binds TCCR/WSX1 on native CD4+ T cells and induces the expression of a functional IL-12 receptor, making these cells sensitive to IL-12-mediated Th1 cell development. IL-27 is secreted by antigen-presenting cells, such as CD11b+ dendritic cells and macrophages. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice. Absorption: 488nm , Emission: 565-605nm, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
