Anti-INDO, CT (Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase, IDO-1, EC 1.13.11.52, Indoleamine-pyrrole 2,3-dioxygenas

Gamma-interferon (IFNG, MIM 147570) has an antiproliferative effect on many tumor cells and inhibits intracellular pathogens such as Toxoplasma and Chlamydia, at least partly because of the induction of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (INDO, EC 1.13.11.52). This enzyme catalyzes the degradation of the essential amino acid L-tryptophan to N-formyl-kynurenine. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:50-1:100, Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
