Product information "Anti-Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 beta (GSK3b) (Carboxyfluorescein)"
Glycogen Synthase Kinase-3 (GSK-3) is a serine/threonine kinase initially identified as an inhibitor of glycogen synthase. Two isoforms (GSK-3a and GSK-3b) share 85% amino acid identity. GSK-3b, inhibited by phosphorylation at S9 by Akt, is involved in energy metabolism, body pattern formation, and neuronal cell development. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
