Anti-EDG-3 (EDG3, S1P3, Sphingosine 1-phosphate Receptor-3, LPB3, S1PR3) (PE)

Sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor-3 (S1P3), also known as EDG-3, is a 378 amino acid (aa) seven transmembrane receptor for the lysolipid phosphoric acid mediator, sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P). Interactions between S1P3 and S1P induce a range of responses including vasoconstriction, brachycardia, vascular endothelial and smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration, heart and liver fibrosis, and coagulation-induced inflammation. Extracellular portions of human S1P3 show 74% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat S1P3. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells using NSO mouse myeloma cell line transfected with human S1P3/EDG-3 and eGFP., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
