Product information "Anti-DUSP13, NT (M1) (Dual Specificity Protein Phosphatase 13, Testis-and Skeletal-muscle-specific D"
Dual-specificity phosphatases, a subfamily of protein-tyrosine phosphatases, play important roles in signal transduction, cell cycle progression, and tumor suppression. The cDNA encoding a novel phosphatase, PIR1, phosphatase that interacts with RNA/RNP complex 1. Sequence analysis revealed that the predicted 329aa protein has homology to several dual-specificity phosphatases and contains 2 stretches of arginine-rich sequence similar to those found in some RNA-binding proteins. In vitro, recombinant protein displays protein-tyrosine phosphatase activity and binds directly to RNA. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-1:500, Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
