Product information "Anti-DGKE (Diacylglycerol Kinase epsilon, DAG Kinase epsilon, Diglyceride Kinase epsilon, DGK-epsilo"
DGKe (Diacylglycerol kinase epsilon) is a 65kD member of the eukaryocytic diacylglycerol kinase family of enzymes. It is a type III DGK that possesses only a C1/Cysrich domain and a catalytic region, and is found in neurons and testis. DGKe specifically phosphorylates arachidonate-containing DAG, and may down regulate DAG signaling that results from inositol cycling. Human DGKe is 567aa in length. It contains one predicted transmembrane domain (aa22-42), two C1 DAG binding regions (aa59-108 and 124-177) and one catalytic domain (aa219-350). DGKe is predicted to form intramembrane oligomers. Over aa314-435, human DGKe shares 99%aa identity with mouse DGKe. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry: 8-25ug/ml, Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
