Antibody in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol and 0.4-0.5mg/ml BSA. This gene encodes Cell division cycle 7-related protein kinase, a cell division cycle protein with kinase activity that is critical for the G1/S transition. The yeast homolog is also essential for initiation of DNA replication as cell division occurs. Overexpression of this gene product may be associated with neoplastic transformation for some tumors. [RefSeq] Protein function: Kinase involved in initiation of DNA replication. Phosphorylates critical substrates that regulate the G1/S phase transition and initiation of DNA replication, such as MCM proteins and CLASPIN. [The UniProt Consortium]
