Anti-CD3 (Early T Cell Marker), clone 5C18

CD3 consists of five different polypeptide chains (designated as gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta and eta). The CD3 complex is closely associated at the lymphocyte cell surface with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR). It is involved in signal transduction to the T cell interior following antigen recognition. CD3 antigen is a highly specific marker for T cells, and is present in the majority of T cell neoplasms. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunocytochemistry: 10ul/10e6 cells., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
