Anti-CD152 (CTLA4, Cytolytic T-lymphocyte-associated Antigen 4) (Azide Free)

Human CD152 (CTLA-4) is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed at low levels on activated T cells. CD152 is a high affinity receptor for the costimulatory molecules CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2) and appears to function as a negative regulator of T cell activation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunocytochemistry: frozen fixed cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. C2548-83GX blocks the binding of CD152 muIg fusion protein/R-PE conjugate (C2548-83V3) to CD80 and CD86 expressed on human Raji cells. , 2. Binding was blocked when the the CD152muIg/R-PE fusion protein was preincubated with an excess of C2548-83GX. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
