Description: Isatuximab is a monoclonal antibody targeting the transmembrane receptor and extracellular enzyme CD38 in malignant cells of the hematological system, a highly expressed protein in multiple myeloma. It exhibits antitumor activity, antibody-dependent cytotoxicity, complement-dependent cytotoxicity, and antibody-dependent cytophagocytosis, directly inducing apoptosis without crosslinking. Isatuximab inhibits CD38 extracellular enzyme activity, affecting various cellular functions. Target: Apoptosis, CD38. References: Dhillon S.
