Product information "Anti-Raptor (Regulatory Associated Protein of mTOR, p150 Target of Rapamycin (TOR) Scaffold Protein"
Raptor is a subunit of mTORC1 which regulates cell growth and survival in response to nutrient and hormonal signals. mTORC1 is activated in response to growth factors or amino-acids. Within mTORC1, Raptor positively regulates mTORC1 activity and functions as a scaffold for recruiting mTORC1 substrates. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml detected Raptor on 10ug of HEK293 cell lysate. HEK293 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membranes and probed with R1171-01K. , Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse IgG (HRP) and chemiluminescence detection system. , Immunoprecipitation: 20ug, Immunocytochemisty: 1: 500 detected Raptor in NIH/3T3 cells., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-06C: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt x Mo, I1904-06H IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt x Mo, Positive Control: HEK 293 cell lysate. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
