Protein function: Catalyzes the hydrolysis of nucleoside triphosphates and diphosphates in a calcium- or magnesium-dependent manner. Preferentially hydrolyzes nucleoside 5'-triphosphates, with substrate preference for UTP > GTP > CTP. Hydrolyzes ATP and nucleoside diphosphates only to a minor extent. [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 90% and to rat: 92%
