Prolyl oligopeptidase, Human, Recombinant, NT His tag (POP, PREP, Prolyl endopeptidase)

Human Prolyl oligopeptidase (POP)/Prolyl endopeptidase (PREP) (GenBank Accession No. NM_002726) full length with N-terminal His tag. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Specific Activity: ~6 pmol/min/ug, Assay Conditions: 50mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.1% BSA, 20uM substrate (A-P-AMC) and 5ng POP at RT for 30 minutes. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
