Cathepsin D (Human Liver)

Cathepsin D is a ubiquitous lysosomal aspartyl protease that functions in protein degradation and apoptosis. This product is best used to study enzyme kinetics, cleave target substrates, and screen for inhibitors. Protein function: Closely involved in osteoclastic bone resorption and may participate partially in the disorder of bone remodeling.
