SARS-CoV-2 (N-Protein) Peptide Pool

Pool of 102 overlapping peptides derived from a peptide scan (15mers with 11 aa overlap) through Nucleoprotein (UniProt: P0DTC9) of SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-related coronavirus 2) for T cell assays (e.g. ELISPOT). One unit allows the stimulation of 2,5 x 10^8 cells. Protein function: Packages the positive strand viral genome RNA into a helical ribonucleocapsid (RNP) and plays a fundamental role during virion assembly through its interactions with the viral genome and membrane protein M. Plays an important role in enhancing the efficiency of subgenomic viral RNA transcription as well as viral replication. May modulate transforming growth factor-beta signaling by binding host smad3.
