DU-14

DU-14 is a steroid sulfatase inhibitor (IC50 = 55.8 nM). It inhibits the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells (IC50 = 38.7 nM). In vivo, DU-14 (30 mg/kg), in combination with the steroid precursor dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS, Cay-15873), potentiates DHEAS reversal of scopolamine-induced amnesia in the passive avoidance test in rats.
