Viloxazine (hydrochloride)

Viloxazine is an antidepressant. It selectively inhibits norepinephrine uptake over serotonin (5-HT) uptake in rat hypothalamic synaptosomes (IC50s = 0.9 and >100 µM, respectively). Viloxazine (8 and 16 mg/kg) decreases immobility time in the forced swim test in mice.
