Forskolin is a naturally occurring diterpene from the Indian plant, Coleus forskohlii, that works as an activator of adenylate cyclase resulting in an increase in the intracellular concentration of cAMP. Solubility: Soluble in DMSO (5mg/ml) or ethanol (6mg/ml). Melting Point: 226-229ºC, Elemental Analysis: Calculated: C=64.37%, , H=8.35%, Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20°C.
