Carazolol

Carazolol is a beta-adrenergic receptor (beta-AR) ligand (Kds = 0.2, 0.03, and 4.47 nM for the human beta1-, beta2-, and beta3-ARs, respectively). It reduces epinephrine-induced increases in mean arterial blood pressure and heart rate in conscious pigs when administered at a dose of 10 µg/kg. Carazolol has been found in wastewater effluent.
