AM630 binds selectively to cannabinoid 2 (CB2) over CB1 receptors with Ki values of 31.2 and 5,152 nM, respectively. AM630 acts as an inverse agonist at CB2 receptors, attenuating the antinociceptive effects of a number of cannabinoids, and as a weak partial agonist at CB1 receptors.
