Acivicin

Acivicin is a glutamine analog that irreversibly inhibits glutamine-dependent amidotransferases involved in nucleotide and amino acid biosynthesis (Kis = 10 and 560 µM for anthranilate synthase and glutamate synthase, respectively). It also reversibly inhibits gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase.
