Applications:, Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: To detect hTGFb1 by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 5ug/ml of this antibody is required. This monoclonal antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2ng/well of recombinant hTGFb1. Western Blot: To detect hTGFb1 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 1ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hTGFb1 is 1.95-3.0ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability:, Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
