The intact CCT complex is composed of eight polypeptides in a double-ring structure. CCT is important within cells in aiding the folding of proteins including actin, tubulin and the VHL tumor suppressor protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:100. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. , Western Blot: 1:500. Detects a band of ~60kD under reducing conditions in HeLa cell lysates., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control for Immunohistochemistry: Human prostate, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
