Anti-PLAUR

Anti-PLAUR antibody is directed against human PLAUR protein.  The product was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification.  A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from human based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence.  Cross reactivity with PLAUR from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator. Plays a role in localizing and promoting plasmin formation. Mediates the proteolysis-independent signal transduction activation effects of U-PA. It is subject to negative-feedback regulation by U-PA which cleaves it into an inactive form.
