Anti-PCK1, NT (PCK1, PEPCK1, Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase, cytosolic [GTP], Phosphoenolpyruvate

This gene is a main control point for the regulation of gluconeogenesis. The cytosolic enzyme encoded by this gene, along with GTP, catalyzes the formation of phosphoenolpyruvate from oxaloacetate, with the release of carbon dioxide and GDP. The expression of this gene can be regulated by insulin, glucocorticoids, glucagon, cAMP, and diet. A mitochondrial isozyme of the encoded protein also has been characterized. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
