Anti-Nitric Oxide Synthase (NOS1), clone N1

Anti-NOS1 antibody was purified from mouse ascites by protein A chromatography.  This product reacts with human, rat, goat, and pig. Cross reactivity with NOS1 from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Produces nitric oxide (NO) which is a messenger molecule with diverse functions throughout the body. In the brain and peripheral nervous system, NO displays many properties of a neurotransmitter. Probably has nitrosylase activity and mediates cysteine S-nitrosylation of cytoplasmic target proteins such SRR. [The UniProt Consortium]
