Anti-Interleukin 27 (IL-27, p28)

Interleukin 27 (IL-27) is a secreted heterodimeric cytokine comprised of the IL-12 p35-related protein, p28, and the IL-12 p40-related protein, EBI3 (Epstein-Barr virus-induced gene 3). IL-27 is expressed by monocytes, endothelial cells and dendritic cells. It binds TCCR/WSX-1 on native CD4+ T cells and induces the expression of a functional IL-12 receptor, allowing IL-12-induced Th1 polarization. Human EBI3 is 61aa identical to mouse EBI3 and includes an 20aa signal peptide and a 209aa mature protein with two fibronectin type III domains. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6 cells , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
