Anti-Interleukin 22 (IL-22, IL-10 Related T cell-derived Inducible Factor, IL-TIF) (PE)

Interleukin 22 (IL-22), also called IL-10 related T cell-derived inducible factor or IL-TIF, is a secreted cytokine that contributes to the inflammatory response in vivo. IL-22 is expressed in T cells and mast cells in response to IL-9 or lipopolysaccharide. IL-22 monomers bind to a class II cytokine receptor that is a heterodimer of CRF2-9 (IL-22 Ra1) and CRF2-4 (IL-10 Rb). Mouse IL-22 is a 179 amino acid (aa) protein with a 33aa signal peptide, three N-glycosylation sites, and two intramolecular disulfide bonds. The mature protein shows 78% and 90% aa identity with human and rat IL-22, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: Neat, 10ul labels 5x10e5 cells., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
